New foreign arrivals who fall into either of the following categories will be allowed to enter Japan
(1)People on business or employment for less than 3 months
(2)People who will stay for longer than 3 months
From this time forth, people will now be required to stay in government designated housing for either 3 or 6 days and isolate for 14 days at home. For more information about who is eligible for the shortened quarantine period, please refer to the chart below.
